Training in the gi is often considered to be the more technical side of Jiu-Jitsu because of the inclusion of gripping the gi and the slower pace of sparring it provides.
This style of training is easily described as faster and provides a more fluid grappling experience than with the gi as participants can quickly transition from one position to another.
With our younger kids we focus solely on positional sparring to develop body awareness and major motor skills. For the bigger kids we include all the elements of sport BJJ to build and shape character and develop physical strength.
